In that environment, doing everything in-house is no longer affordable or scalable across RF, FPGA/SoC, embedded software, and integration/test. OPEN SYSTEMS
APPROACH

Many of Epiq’s small form factor (SFF) radios allow development of customer applications on internal FPGA and CPU resources within the radios. Epiq provides a standardized API library, Libsidekiq, as an easy open interface to access and control RF and digital functions. Many of the commands are common across multiple radios, allowing code reuse.
