Job Description

We are currently seeking a full time Electronic Assembler to join our growing Production team that builds state-of-the-art wireless products. The primary responsibilities of this position are to assemble, perform final test and prepare these products for shipping. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, fast learner, highly motivated, and experienced in a wide variety of manufacturing functions.

Responsibilities & Tasks

  • Perform a wide variety of routine manufacturing functions
  • Independently perform all phases of electronic and electronic-related mechanical assembly
  • Run the circuit boards though test systems to ensure the quality of the builds
  • Assemble, test, and pack product using a variety of hand tools, pneumatic drivers and computerized equipment
  • Perform in process checks to ensure accuracy of work, with a good eye for detail
  • Complete production activities efficiently and managing time and priorities well to meet deadlines on time
  • Perform incoming inspection on a variety of electrical and mechanical components
  • Perform tasks in accordance with the company electro-static discharge (ESD) procedures
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area

Skills & Experience

Required

  • 3+ years electronics assembly industry experience
  • Self-starter must be able to work independently and with limited supervision
  • Ability to read, interpret and follow prints, diagrams, written and oral work instructions and other written documentation relevant to production
  • Possess good communication skills (English), both verbal and written
  • Ability to operate automated test fixtures connected to electronic test equipment
  • Ability to use hand tools (wrench, pliers, screwdrivers, etc.) to assemble product
  • Ability to use micrometer to measure thickness of material
  • Ability to read and use measuring tools.(Micrometers, calipers)
  • Good working knowledge of measure units American and metric
  • Must be computer literate (Word and Excel experience a big plus)
  • Experience or interest in working with computer, wireless (RF), and/or software products in a manufacturing environment a big plus
  • High School diploma or equivalent experience
